““I am a new student of Bridgette’s. I am 64 years old now and have always wanted to sing and play guitar. I never pursued my dreams before because of the old fears and people telling me that I couldn’t hold a tune. I decided to take voice lessons. Bridgette has been a god-send. I love her instructional methods. She is very positive in her coaching and criticism. “ I have only been working with Bridgette for about 7 months now and it has been a great experience so far. I love attending my lessons, they are directed at the skills I need to improve on and not based off of a scheduled program. During my lessons I always have fun, regardless if I am struggling with an area of my voice, I find exercises enjoyable as they are different from my past experience in vocal lessons. I find it helpful when Bridgette gives encouraging words and gives you tips in order for you to achieve your goal or even how you can try to hit the note. Recently I have been working on a Carrie Underwood song, most of her songs are known to be very hard to sing as well have a huge vocal range and power notes. Bridgette changed the key of the song so it has become easier for me to sing but still has a vocal challenge. I have struggled with the nerves of preforming, within the past 7 months I feel as though I have become more willing to sing in front of a crowd due to the comfortable aurora I feel at vocal lessons. Bridgette has helped me become a more confident singer and performer. I believe that taking lessons from her was such a great idea and has made me better, she is such a down to earth person and a total sweetheart!
